Grand Opening of CMHA Muskoka Parry Sound Gravenhurst Office

Gravenhurst, Ont., October 17, 2024 – The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Muskoka-Parry Sound is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new office in Gravenhurst. This marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing increased access to mental health and addiction services to the community.

The community is invited for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of CMHA’s new office in Gravenhurst on Oct. 17, 1-3 p.m. at 1100A Muskoka Rd. Local dignitaries, CMHA staff, and community members will be in attendance. Light refreshments and facility tours will be offered.

The new office will provide crucial mental health services, including counselling, crisis intervention, addiction support, and outreach programs, bringing support closer to home for the Gravenhurst community.

“We’re excited to open our new Gravenhurst office and extend our reach within the community,” said CMHA Muskoka-Parry Sound, Executive Director, Diane Brown-Demarco. “This new location will enable us to provide essential mental health and addiction services to more people, closer to where they live.”

“The new office reflects our ongoing commitment to expanding access to mental health and addiction services across the region. By being more present in this community, we can deliver timely, client-centred care to those who need it most,” said Joan Edwards Karmazyn, Board Chair, CMHA Muskoka-Parry Sound. “We are proud to be a part of this important step forward in delivering essential services to our neighbours in Gravenhurst.”
